PES 07 three times better on PS3 says "Konami insider"

A supposed Konami insider has posted claims on a Korean games forum that the upcoming Pro Evolution Soccer 2007 will be noticeably better on PS3 than on 360.

The post, which appeared on Ruliweb (and translated here), claims that the PS3 version of everybody's favourite footy sim will receive huge enhancements afforded by the large capacity of the Blu-Ray format.

The game is said to use 18GB of space on the disc (Xbox 360's dual-layer DVDs offer 7GBs of usable storage space).

The post also claims that the PS3 version's 60fps frame-rate will better that of the 360.

We remain sceptical that the difference, if there is any, will be noticeable. Time will tell.

Hier soll es erst mal um eure Wünsche/Vorschläge für PES 7 gehen vorallem für die 360 und PS3.

Das wären meine:
Offline:
- mehr Lizenzen
- bessere Torwart-KI
- bessern Editor Modus
- Spieler sollen endlich mal richtig mit laufen und nicht einfach stehn bleiben
- Pässe müssen etwas genauer kommen und mit einem Passbalken ausstatten
- Halle
- Die "Schnell weiterspielen" Funktion nach nem freistoss sollte flüssiger gehn...nicht als neu Sequenz sondern der spieler soll aufstehen und sofort vor dem ball stehen, dann entscheidet man selbst, passen oder weiter pass.
- Bei Wiederholungen zurück spulen soll auch wirklich alles zurück laufen, finds immer wieder ecklig wenn man zurück spuhlt und die fahnen bewegen sich net rückwärts mit von den Zuschauer, aber normallaufen lassen schwenken sie wieder, rückwärts wieder nicht.
- Besser Stimmung im Stadion bzw. Realistische fan Gesänge(5.1 Sound wäre auch geil)
- mehr Torjubel Animation am best auf den Tasten drück
- ML mit Manager Modus und echter Währung Euro oder Doller
- Kommentatoren unbedingt verbessern bzw. andere nehmen
- Replays Speichern hat mich bei der 360 richtig angekotzt
- Ein paar Spieler abwerten sind viel zu gut (Adriano, Eto´o, Ronaldinho, Shevchenko mehr fallen mir gerade nicht ein)
- Bessere Grafik wie z.b. 3D Publikum
- bessere Musik im Menü
- mehr Auswahl im Bereich Bälle
- mehr Stadien

- Wetter, das sich während des Spiels verschlechtert oder verbessert
- durch das Wetter beeinflussende Ball- und Spielerphysik (Pfützen, usw.)
- Mehr Bewegung bei der Bank

Online:
- Keine Rückler
- Ein Lobby wie bei PC und PS2 (nach Sprachen sortiert und mit text chaet funcktion)
- Replays online Speichern
- 2 vs 2 an verschiedenen Konsolen
- Zuschauer Modus mit bis zu 100 Zuschauer
- Besser Wettbewerbe oder selber ein Wettbewerb auf machen vllt sogar eine Liga

Ein extra Wunsch von mir:
Für die 360 ein Pad das ein ein bessers Steuerkreuz hat und wo das um greifen bei den Schulter tasten schneller geht (wichtig für Super-Kontrol). Am besten ein PS2 Pad an die 360 Anschließen.

So mehr fehlt mir jetzt nicht ein.

свикнали сме ПЕС-а да е порт за ПС2, дано ако няма за ПС2 версия, порта да е от ПС3. Изпълнят ли това, не само че ще си купя оригиналката, но и компа ще си сменя, за по-добро изживяване... Асене, отде намери тая информация вее? 18 ГБ???????????

Предполагам,че 18ГБ ще е с всички езици В смисъл ,че ако си я инсталираш само с Английски ще е 2-3 ГБ Но пък вече с лицензи и тези страхотни подобрения Наистина ПЕС 7 ще е една много голяма крачка напред и няма начин да не си я дръпна

There is a big doubt whether any next gen WE/PES7 info will be released on the 23rd at the New Generation World Hobby Fair as first expected.

Earlier this month we had confirmation from many sources that Konami Tokyo would be unveiling the PS3 version of Winning Eleven at this months NEW GENERATION WORLD HOBBY FAIR in Tokyo on the 23rd of June. However, today's update of the Konami website seems to possibly suggest otherwise.

The section on the web page regarding Winning Eleven seems to be dedicated to the recently announced J-League Winning Eleven 2007 Club Championship due to be released for the PS2 on the 2nd of August. There is also no mention of alternative formats on the web page. We hope that Konami are just trying to keep the hype down and will surprise us at the show with what we're all dying to see.

Konami Unveils Pro Evolution Soccer 2008!!!



This morning Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH announced the upcoming title PES 2008. Confirming the news that was announced by W.E.N.B. on the podcast!!!

'Learning' AI, new Next Gen iterations, and specific enhancements to gameplay revealed in Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH's new Pro Evolution Soccer

Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has announced that PES 2008 will be released in Autumn 2007. The latest edition to the multi-million-selling Pro Evolution Soccer series will be released for PLAYSTATION®3, Xbox 360, PC-DVD, PlayStation®2, PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) and Nintendo DS, and is primed to be the definitive football title for any format.



Key to PES 2008 is a proprietary adaptive AI system entitled Teamvision. Unique to the Konami game, Teamvision is a sophisticated AI programming that learns and adapts according to an individual’s style of play. As such, it will learn new ways to build attacks and to counter specific movements and previous attacking or defensive errors, ensuring games are more in line with the tactical but flowing nature of the real thing.



With the Pro Evolution Soccer series renowned for its fluid, realistic gameplay, the new game builds on the implementation of Teamvision with additional key advances. As with previous releases since its inception in 1996, the ball is again treated as a separate entity, with the timing of shots entirely down to the player, while the new AI ensures that defenders work to close down space and block efforts on goal. Similarly, distribution of passes works along the same lines, with players using the space available to them to switch the ball. Close control has also been enhanced with more control when dribbling the ball, and a number of subtle moves added to bypass defenders and move the ball into space.



Working in conjunction with the Teamvision system, every aspect of Pro Evolution Soccer 2008’s on-field play has been reworked and fine-tuned to create the balanced and strategic play of a high stakes match. Set-pieces have been improved, with full control given over the number of players and the position of the defensive wall. A wider range of set piece options are also available to make use of specific talents within the team.



Marking the series’ first appearance on PLAYSTATION®3, and its second Xbox 360 outing, these and the PC-DVD ‘Next Generation’ versions of Pro Evolution Soccer 2008’s are further enhanced by stunning aesthetic elements. Player detail has been taken to incredible levels with full facial animation and the high-definition detail afforded by the hardware used to show full movement and subtle details to the various kits during the course of a match. All ‘Next Gen’ versions will also benefit from an extensive Edit mode, allowing gamers to customise their PES experience.

2. Brazil and Portugal national teams fully licensed.
3. Increased number of stadiums including Dragao Stadium (FC Porto).
4. Konami promises it will be a true next-gen experience.
5. Proper facial animations and shirt pulling.
6. Kits that flow and crease as the players run around.
7. Watermarks from sweat and rain appear on the player as the game continues.

Winning Eleven Pro Evolution Soccer 2007 всъщност си е чисто PES 6. Не гледай торента от замундата, това там НЕ е новия ПЕС. За ПЕС7 има да почакаме още доста време. По принцип новите версии излизат есента.
